im hoping to start boat fishing next summer when i get an outboard for my 16ft boat, but im just wondering how do i find out where the best marks are. its easy to find shore marks as there are loads of guides on the net including this site, but id love to find somewhere giving boat marks if you get what i mean.
the areas im hoping to fish would really the east coast for starters, from greystones down to wexford, and carlingford lough
my main targets would be tope
i was watching paul young hooked on fishing last night where he was fishing for tope in carlingford around dundalk bay, but after looking at dundalk bay on the map... its a big area!
id really appreciate some info on marks, so i can be prepared for next season, even pm me if you dont want to broadcast ur info
regards

Greystones is great spot for good tope. Its fishing very well at the moment i was out last sunday
there was plenty of macks and herring we had enough bait in 10 mins
then out to the mark couldn't anchor tide to strong so we drifted and got 4 tope 1 was specimen
2 between 25 and 30 and 1 around 35 all returned
[sorry i got away from the piont there]
you should join 1 of the local clubs greystones or bray clubs
