RT aXellerator - Using a Fixed Spool

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

RT aXellerator - Using a Fixed Spool

#1 Post by enoonan001 »

Lo All,
Was wondering if anyone is using the RT aXellerator with a fixed spool reel?
I know that its rung for use with a multiplier but was wondering if anyone has experience of a FS without changing the rings?

Having read alot of good reviews online I think it might be a rod for the bag for the rough stuff as the budget is tight.

Thanks in advance

Eoin

I seen a guy using one at a Shannon Club competition and he was getting great distance out of it I saw the rod and would recomend fixed spool use over a multiplyer and if I was going to use a fixed spool I would definately use it with the rod you mentioned...........
