Ennereilly

#1 Post by davybrown99 »

People:Myself

Duration:11PM-1.30AM

Tide:Ebb

Weather:Calm and quiet. Just after full moon and almost could have done without the light.

Bait:Rag

Rigs:Flappers

Results:Flounder, Whiting. Whiting.........etc.etc. Oh yeah and a tiny common hound.

Quiet night. Good few on the beach with lamps that could double as floodlights and fires going. Crap fishing really. Slow going with a small flounder just over 20cm followed by wave after wave of the tiniest whiting ever. Biggest was about 3 inches. Around 1am got the tiny hound. All of 25cms of it. Only other highlight was finding another small common hound dead in the edge of the water. Got cold so went home for a quick beer and bed. Nice to get out all the same.
