wexford beach 29th-30th

Duration:10pm-5am

Tide:hw 12.30

Weather:south westerly

Bait:peeler-lug-maddies

Rigs:2 hook clips- 3 hook flappers

Results:4 smoothhounds- 7 bass- 2 flounder




Report:I] had the most enjoyable session of fishing for a long time.
I was fishing with two rods one in one out. The first fish was a flounder of 23cm and the rod that was at distance just bent over in a hoop a hound of over a meter long didnt weight it just wanted to get it back.
I picked up a small bass and three smoothie pups[30cm or so]
Then as the tide was falling the bass started to hit. There were no bite off them just bang over the rod goes
thought they were bigger fish than they were. They were between 44cm to about 50cm.
