Was working in Limerick and returned to cork around 7 and headed for a mid east Cork beach as i got there a thunder storm was approaching so stayed in car looking at what looked like really good conditions nnice surf and the beach looked clean the last time i had looked at it it was covered in weed went down after storm passed and set first rod up with razor out it went and began to set up second rod but saw what lloked like a little weed registering on the rod out reeled in and had some job clearing it of weed. Moved around and it was same everywhere so back to car and moved a bit west and good trek down to another beach from car same thing. Back to car it was about 10 went further west where surfers were packing up for the night was another guy there who had good bass there recently around hw cast out it was weed free so could enjoy fishing after a while one rod going and sure i had a good bass convinced but no a big dogfish. You certainly feel the fish on that profile seanie 35! anyway gave it another while nice surf etc nothing doing but it was lovely fishing weedfree for an hour or so pat
