People:Same Team as day before, Me, Der Baron and Adam
Duration:3.30pm-6.30pm
Tide:HT 6.10pm
Weather:Dryish, passing thunder storms, light offshore breeze.
Bait:Frozen mack, frozen black lug, prawn, jellies
Rigs:2 hook flapper, paternoster, spinners, leadheads etc
Results:Me-1 Pollack, 1 Haddock. Adam-1 Pouting, 1 Rockling
Report: What a difference a day makes! Different conditions, different baits, a lot less and different species

All in all, a bit dissappointing but then on the other hand......it beats work! What we are trying to work out is why such a difference? Ok, we didn't have any fresh lug, so that would account for the lack of Wrasse taking the bait, but generally there was just a lack of fish. Can only put it down to the difference in sea conditions, presumably the day before was throwing up more food for them. I suppose the surprise of the day was hooking a small haddock

Adam managed a Pouting and a Rockling and Der Baron drew a blank (serves him right for calling me Claude Greengrass, on account of my stylish and much admired headwear

). Jealousy...........not a handsome quality!
A couple of other blokes nearby lifted a couple of Pollack and a Coalie on the mack.
Great light show with the thunderstorm, missed us by about half a mile!
Getting to like this fishing lark............
