Wexford Lure Session
Had a blast at bass yesterday evening for a few hours. Tried a spot I hadn't fished before that looked really good. Arrived to find two other lads fishing and within an hour or so another 3 had arrived with two boats pulling up about 50ft from the rocks. Obviously this was the spot of the moment. Tide was rising pushing a nice current past the rocks I was standing on. Tried everything I could throw at them - poppers, plugs, kiltys, tobys, jelly sandeels - all with no joy. One of the lads picked up two small bass in succession but as far as i could see no-one else got a touch. I'm definitely heading back as soon as i can get a chance.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Re: Wexford Lure Session
Hard luck Ronan but at least you have another mark to try and with the amount of quality bass marks on your doorstep I know it won't be long until I get another abusive txt telling me about your latest catch, not that I'm jealous.
