Achill Island, Co.Mayo 25th July

#1 Post by galwaydude »

Just myself

Duration: 8pm to 10pm

Tide:High about 9pm

Weather:storm coming in

Bait:Toby, German Sprat

Rigs:

Results: 1 sandeel & 1 small pollack (1lb)

Report: Went to fish Bullsmouth as was suggested on this board looking for sea trout which I was told had been seen splashing about. Thought I saw a couple in close but could have been my eyes playing tricks as the light went. Its an interesting mark and one Id like to fish again. A local told me best time to fish is half tide but hmm....Im not sure about that. The tide rip is savage even at high tide...Anyway...its my first post here so I hope this is of interest :D
