Anyone else hear that there were Mackeral caught on the clare coast lately??

Am I right in saying its a bit early?

yup i heard the bridges were throwing up a few..... i'm gonna head down there before the weekend,and see for myself. not expecting to catch anything, but i miss chucking 6 hooks off the side of a cliff with a rod with the action of a stick of rhubarb!!

Fished Dunlickey Castle early Monday morning. No mackeral, just a few small coalies.

i fished dunlickey last night, nothing, but i saw the scales of a few fish, i was guessing either pollack or coalies....god on ya woody!
