any good?????
has anyone ever used one of these? am thinking of getting one to try it out, i recond it would be handy for checking out new rock marks, to get some information of what type of ground you would be casting into, and finding deep gullys and so on. so if anyone has used one or seen one in action, i would be greatfull for their comments.

Re: any good?????
i know what you mean, but its something that would be used carefully and would be used on a rod an reel loaded with 50lb braid ( just in case ) if that fails, kit off and in for a swimyoungrod wrote:sounds good but you d be in trouble if you lose the senor thats 40 pound into the sea![]()

Re: any good?????
used one for 5 years now and find it to be excellent for getting an idea on what depths and the ground is like when checking out a new mark.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.
