Finished work at 5 and was such a nice evening and couldn't waste it so threw the rods in the car and picked up adrain and headed to courtown angling center for my big juicy lug!got to the pier in cahore around 7 and set up.the sea was extremely calm so wasn't expecting much in the way of bass.met two nice men at the end of the pier who'd been fishing for hours without a bite....i could smell a blank.first cast loaded up with lug and sure enough has two whiting within minites.lug proved to be the best bait by far catching everything on the night.Just as the sun went down adrain pulled in too nice dab one over 30cm,sorry have no photos forgot the camera.overall not a bad session, sher what else would ya rather do of a nice sunny evening! :

Nice fishing. A dab over 40 cm is a good fish. I would imagine it would be close to a specimen if your interested in that sort of thing.

sorry was just over 30cms thats a typo but ya it was one of the biggest dabs ive seen anyway.jealous is what i was

thats not a bad size dab mate.. fair play for sticking it out even with bein slow but al least the blank was saved.....
