BACK OUT AND ABOUT with the tadpoles !!

People:myself

Duration:as long as it took

Tide:in and out

Weather:ok

Bait:everything i could muster !!

Rigs:all battle rigs at the ready

Results:some mini species




Reportthought id venture back out for a few mini's at a new found mark and decided to try it out .and what can i say :mrgreen: it was good .started off with a rock goby and then a tompot both fell to rag and then i had my biggest shore rockling to date at 32cm ! i thought it was a 3 beard because of its size, next in was a gunnel on a size 18 with a piece of rag i couldnt even see !!. after that was the tadpole on a size 8 on rag , then the dog :D :mrgreen: all in all very enjoyable couple of hours and a few more for the species hunt ! :D 8)

if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]

i know mate he's just jelous !! :lol: i love fishing for mini's , i get just as much of a buzz from them than fishing for big fish

Did you have any luck afterwards on Friday night? We packed up about an hour after you left. The wind picked up even more so after a coffee it was decided to leg it home.

Cracking session there Boycie ,I'm starting to get withdrawl symptoms from fishing ,I've only had about 6 sessions from the new year ,must get down the pier for some minis myself.
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

we tried a few local marks after we spoke to ya but the north wind made the fishing very difficult and could not try some of our marks,,until sat anyway :wink:
