Tide:flooding

Weather:windy very windy heavy showers

Bait:crab

Rigs:one up one down rigs

Results:seven flounder




Report:

hit youghal today first venue proved fruitless moved to more sheltered mark.second cast first fish flounder 41cm :lol: cast again and put out second rod close in shortly after second fish 42 flounder on outside rod when casting again noticed short rod gone slack reeled in third flounder 41 again all thick fat fish next fish a real beauty 48.5 by 28 and weighed in later at 1.22 kg 8) went quiet then for half an hour picked up again with three more fish smallest been 38cm.A great day after some patchy days lately

Great flounder, well done.
I will have to have a session in Youghal soon - just need to get my hands on some peelers first.

cracking fish - wish i could get them that size the whole time

i really hope you didnt take them all - what time of year is it - were they all full of roe?
