west Waterford 24/3/09

#1 Post by seanie35 »

People:me

Duration:7 till 11

Tide:going out

Weather:gusty and mild

Bait:peeler crab

Rigs:4/0 single then 2/0 double flapping away

Results:10 doggies/ 2 bass

Started off with 4 doggies, got the 2 bass about 8.30 within 1 minute, they took the bait on the drop. Missed 2 more straight after that. Then back to doggie bashing. Good nights fishing lots of action and missed 3 slack liners aswell :D

Well done Seanie, great session.
Now I am sorry I didn't head out last night. I thought about it but as I hadn't a chance to dig any lug yesterday morning I decided head out tonight instead.

I was out this afternoon for a couple of casts in a new spot , I met an angler I knew there and he had a nice bass while I was there . I was planning a night session but I forgot my head lamp so thet put a halt to that plan !

There hasn't been much caught around Tramore lately anyway the odd specemin but no schoolies very strange !
If I'm not gonna catch a fish , I may aswell not catch a BIG fish !
