wicklow 23/3/09 the bass are back.

#1 Post by keitzer30 »

People:me and gino

Duration:7.00 till 9.30

Tide:rising

Weather:fine and clear

Bait:black lug. lug, squid , and rag.

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:me 5 bass and 1 whiting. gino 1 dab , 4 whiting, 2 bass.

Report:had bait left from a comp on saturday nite and gave a new mark a bash came good for us as it was a fish a cast. they were only small schoolies but nice to see them about so early. all fish were released. all the fish i caught were either on the black lug or on the normal lug none on the ragworm which i found strange as later in the year we will get all the bass on ragworm if only using worm baits.

how ya cortaz, most of the bass were only small schoolies about 30 cm or so. there was any amount of them too but they were bass all the same and it bodes well for the future for this mark.
