People:Me and Carpets

Duration:

Tide:Over the top and falling.

Weather:Light Westerly

Bait:Lug

Rigs:4/0 Pulleys

Results:Myself 2 Bass. 3 Rockling
Carpets 1 Bass

Report: We hit a new mark last night for the craic, it was a good excuse to get out of the house!
Carpets was test driving his new Carbon Metal Express and His MTi Bass with a fancy reel seat...very nice!
I had me Tip Sport with me, some difference between the Express and The sport in the casting department !
Anyway back to the fishing, was a slow oul evening, nothing exciting happened got a few small fish and missed a couple of good takes. I caught my smallest ever Bass..he was tiny !! The lug was bigger than him !
Anyway roll on April when the Boys are back in town. All fish went back happy as Larry.

Morning, men,

Aye they were cool little buggers :) . They had no probs taking the 4/0 Manta ! All were lip hooked except for 1 Rockling.

The area we chose to fish, we reckon will turn out a few double figure fish later this year.
