Nice one buddy, nice fishees.

Sounds like an honest mistake on the seatrout, you know now anyways.
No harm done, say it tasted savage though!

Wouldnt like to see the state of your kitchen

But roadrunner's right zeke, you need a licence.

Even if the fish is p*ssing blood, you gotta throw him back :!:

That's a cruel practice.
Seriously, if the fish is damaged in any way. Put it out of it's misery.

I didnt say, DONT put him out of his misery :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

I simply made the point that, no matter what the state of health of the fish, to abide by the regulations you must not take the fish with you.

while it is most advisable to be in possession of the relevant license if you are going to fish for sea trout, i cant help think there is a slight over reaction on here, someones caught a a fish that was gut hooked, if a bailiff mysteriously appears on the beach, simply explain that you were going to hand it over to your nearest loughs agency/fisheries office. this zeke fella here must be half scared to death by some of these responses. am i the only fisherman on here who has embraced the old addage "one for the pot". is this worse than driving "slightly" above the speed limit, parking on a yellow line or nipping through an amber as its turning red, of course its not, or have none of yous done this either... i think not.HAPPY FISHING!!!!!
