Hi all
Does anybody know if the slipway in Aghada(by the tennis club) is open for everyone to use???If not is there any other one in that area.

its a private slip but if you go into club they will give you permission to launch.
there is a fee of 10 euro well thats what it cost last year if my memory is right.
there is also a guy next door he has a predator in his garden he also looks after the launching end of things.
if your near by you might drop into him for the details and his number

As said the Tennis Court slipway is private. Fee for one off launching or fee for season. The slip at the pier in Aghada is public. It drys out at low water.
There is also a slip at Guileen a few miles further east, this one drys out as well. Timing on all these slips will be determined by what you are launching.
