missing tide ????????????????

missing tide ????????????????

Can anyone tell me, what it means when you see a tide on a day showing the low then the high and back to low. as if one high tide at night missing. and how this plays with fishing on such a day. it looks like there are 2 a mnth like this. hope you get what iam trying to say.

The time between each high tide is usually about 12.5 hours. So if there is a high tide at 11.45 am, the next high tide will be at about 15 minutes after midnight. So there will be no evening high tide shown in the table.
