baits- mack, lug, rag, white rag, peeler crab and razorfish
results- me- plenty of decent coalies to 3lbs, 1 codling 1 pouting and 4 poorcod and missed a conger- john- nil
report-
john and i had planned to get out today so we decided to give the dee, i was there first and got a coalie first cast, was quite surprized to get it during the day, but then i got another as john arived and then the biggest, which weighed 3lbs, biggest coalie from the dee and biggest shore coalie so far, then i had a few more, must have been because of the dirty water in the harbour, as they were all caught in day light, as it got dark the coalies stopped feeding, i had a poting and 4 poorcod, last fish i had was a tiny little codling.
john on the other hand had a worse session than me as usual
.peeler crab was the best bait for the coalies, rag also had a couple of fish as did lug.
still a grteat session for me, just as long as good anglers catch.
