hey lads just putting the feelers out there to see how the fishing is in youghal,any info appreciated p.m.'s always welcome

I fished ferrypoint last weekend and all igot was 8 small whiting :) but 2 weekends before that fishing ferrypoint agian i got 1 coalie and 7 good whiting :shock: .The top bait was squid and sandeel.

sea:flounder,whiting,rockling mackeral,dogfish,weverfish,turbot,pollock,cod,coalies,codling
fresh:rainbow trout,brown,trout

Plenty of near specimen flounder caught recently on the quay and steel yard, crab only bait. Good coalies into dark on fish bait no cod as yet.
