Donaghadee

Baits: Rag, Lug, Mack, Squid, Sandeel, Crab
Species: Pollack, Coalfish, Codling, Whiting, Flounder, Dab, Various wrasse species, Various Rockling species, L.S.D.
Ideal Conditions: Dark, Pushing Tide, Bit of Colour in water, moderate swells.

Notes

Donaghadee Pier at this time of year can be a bucket of laughs, plenty of species to keep you occupied and comfortable fishing conditions. For Pollack, Wrasse, and Rockling all you have to do is plonk a bait a couple of yards off the edge of the Pier at the railings. For other species I tend to search them out with longish Rigs, anything from 5yds out, to about 5yds off the north Pier should produce the goods.

I tend to use plenty of bling on my Rigs for the Dee and it seems to work, Use 4 or 5oz Gripleads of hold bottom, If u have rag, you will clean up here.
2015 Lure: Pollack, Herring, Whiting, Sand Goby, Poor Cod, Pouting

42 Species to beat 2011 & 2014
