Bannow bay fishing?

Hey guys , Im fishing Bannow bay Monday, Ive fished here a few times and find it very hit and miss !
Im looking for a few new areas to fish in bannow bay because i dont realy know the area.
So some help on the area and what way to fish the tide , tips would be great!!! :D

i know henry gilbey was fishing there last week he might know something we dont know. there where a few bass around but im not sure on the location tbh

Hi i think henry gilbey blanked himself aswell last week, as you said bannow is hit and miss at the moment. The kilmore side of bannow seems to be fishing poor enough at the moment. The far side seems to be better (fethard side). Baginbun fethard etc, theres a few nice beaches around there if you have a mosey around you.ll find them. There is also a few nice spots around the estuary over at saltmills that are producing also. You could try bannow island down at the point were the river flows out. A bit of a surf wuld be ideal to fish here with fresh peeler if possible.
