Report[/

tried this little mark in the hope of some plaice and dabs but alas they didnt show. had 4-5 good bites with good slack lines but failed to connect to any. pretty sure they were dogs tho. did get a mack on bottom fished lug and squid.

walking back across the little beach i saw a good shoal of mullet. initially they all looked small to about 3 lbs but when i got them feeding with some pieces of mackeral a good number of bigger fish up to an estimated dize of 6lbs moved in. for half an hour they helped them selves to all but my bait but eventually a mid sized fish took my bait and made a screaming run of about 30yds.5 mins later i had a nice mullet of just under speciman weight beached

another hand full of mack pieces was thrown in and 5 minuts later i had a second smaller fish of about 4 lbs. also lost another one around the 4lb mark and missed about 3 more bites. what was all the better was this was taking place in 1 foot of gin clear water 10 feet from my rod tip...who needs bonefish
