Brandon Bay and beyond...

#1 Post by thescotsman »

Hi guys,
Heading down to Cloghane for the long weekend. Heading out in my friends boat from Brandon. Anyone got any advice for us, or areas we should be targetting, other than around Brandon head or the bay itself as we're happy enough with them.
No fixed plan at the moment, so any ideas would be good We were half thinking of trying for some blues, but no idea how far off we'd need to be down that way, although I suspect not too far?
Cheers,
Lee

There is a large inlet south of brandon head called sauce creek that a lot of people try. I think it is a sandy bottom.

I'm not a boat angler myself so someone else might have a better knowledge of this mark.

Cheers John,

Tried out Sauce Creek to good effect on Saturday.
I'll throw up a report in the boat angling section.
