Ballyvaughan marks
We are renting a cottage near Ballyvaughan in a couple of weeks, taking a family friend who is in his 70s and would like do do a bit of easy fishing. He is game for short walks but not treks. A couple of mackerel or pollack for supper would make his day. Any advice on marks?
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

down the road to blackhead is the best bet if he can manage a walk to the rocks from the road - and can tolerate the mack bash
other marks involve a walk or very erratic results
if the mack were in you could just avail of the 2 piers in ballyvaughan
anything more adventurous in mind send me a pm
