Report:Headed out for yet another mullet bash.There was plenty of fish from the minute i arrived so i threw in some floating freebies and immediately spotted a nice mullet of about 3-4lb happily sucking them from the surface.I quickly baited up and cast out 3 foot infront of it,next thing i heard a big splash and looked up to see 2 people in lidls blow up kayaks coming towards me which made all the mullet infront of me scarper
After the kayaks had moved so did i and moved down to where i had the fish last night.It wasn`t long before i had the first mullet in the net,a small fish of 2lb but more than welcome
By now the tide was dropping fast and the mullet were gathering in big numbers at the corner.A few missed bites then i was in to my second fish of the night,this one put up a better fight but i got it in the net and the scales went to 3.35lb
a quick photo and it was back in the water.I missed another couple of bites before the mullet had moved away.Another very enjoyable session
