Report: First time in the kingdom since november went down to set up the mobile for the summer and of course brought the rods. First cast on rod out further got a huge whack picked up rod let line a bit loose felt fish going struck and rod bent and reel left line out. I had put braid on reel that day and when pulling it off reel it nearly ripped my hand open so opened up tension on reel when i had set up!forgot to reset it fish gone. didn't get a tap then til 1020 same whack on same rod felt fish brought in bass of 2 and half pounds. I love Kerry. Having landed fish and putting him back other rod was bent over and brought rest over missed that too running back. Had one other bite which i missed but great night on the beach. I really noticed difference with braid with fish i caught could feel the tussle much better. And were bites more noticeable because of braid?
