Saw this on the CFB website under reports, I figured someone on here must have heard something?

Ennereilly Beach, County Wicklow
There has been a recent report of a 15lb smooth hound taken on sand eel in an Arklow Club competition.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

i have not heard anything about this . i am thinking its still a bit early in the year for the smuts . i had a good few on ennerilley last year up to about nine pound they can grow a lot bigger so it wouldnt surprise me but they are normally around in the middle of the summer. :D
