making weights

was going to start my season supply of boat and shore weights when i noticed a hole a bit bigger than a pin hole in the ladle.
does anyone know where i would get a iron ladle. in Dublin preferably

Should'nt cause a problem. If you want to plug it try using some copper wire from electric cable.

http://www.fishingweightmolds.com have them in different sizes,pricey though :cry:

i have a cast melting pot with a crack half way up the pot and it never leaks :shock:

have you tried melting to see what happens.

i havent used it since the start of last year ill give it a go first before i try and get a new one. if it leaks ill try and plug it like donal said
