People:me

Duration:12-5pm

Tide:lw @ 1pm

Weather:moderate north westerly, not too cold

Bait:mackerel

Rigs:pennell clipped 1/0. 1 up 1down clipped 1/0, 2/0

Results:16 dogs :D :D :D

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:arrived an hour or so before low water straight into the fish from the off... dogs were literally jumping onto the hooks so much so i ended up with 3 doubles at the end of the day, reeling only 3 blank casts all sesion! the beginning and middle of the session was the best as i was struggling to keep up with the volume of fish however it did tail off a little towards the end (by tail off i mean 3 blank casts in the last 5 or 6!!!) and finally getting the chance to have a fag! Donaghs theory of the outer marks fishing better at this time of the year seems to be holding up. had hoped for a small ray/huss but they hadnt a chance to get to the bait. fairly happy at the end of the day anyway considering i wasnt even going to go out!!
