Duration: fri nite, sat evening, sun afternoon

Tide: various

Weather: nice but cold on fri

Bait: crab, lug and razor

Rigs: various

Results: 1 codling, 3 pin whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report:

fished helvic pier for 2 hrs on fri on the advice of cortaz, as the clonea beaches werent producing with the northerly wind. had 1 pin whiting. packed up about 10.30 and called into cortaz's house on the way to clonea.

fished clonea from 11 til about 1am. the only thing i got was frost bite.

on sat i fished a mark recommended by donal, produced 1 small codling of a little under a pound, and another pin whiting

on sun i fished another of donals secret marks and again only got 1 pin whiting on my last cast.

not great results but hopes werent high to begin with

We were in the same boat ...fished Cunnigar from low water up..Never got a bite all morning.I think the North wind is no use for fishing anyway.

We went to Youghal and got a good haul of coalies..right on High water !!

Ouch.... That's tuff fishing.. Fari play for sticking it out... I would have left for the pub after the first session.
