rig making

A little tip that might help when making rigs, now most people use crimps to trap the snood once you have the correct length to the bait clip, how many times do you find that after a while the amount of stretch in the snood length increases resulting in it wont clip up properley, simple answer is dont use crimps use power gum as you can slide it back up the rig body so always maintaining correct snood length i no longer use crimps and also find it effective if using a bait shield as well cheers rod.

i use stiff rig tubing to the same affect. also, instead of using tension springs on rigs you can use a 1" lenght of tubing instead. benefits are that you can use clear tubing and it won't rust.
