DUNGARVAN

#1 Post by AB »

Hi lads. Having a trip to Waterford in mid September, staying near Clonea for a week. Just wondering if anyone able/willing to point me in the right direction as regards lug/crab gathering. From the maps it looks as though Dungarvan harbour area would be good but any guidance much appreciated. Cheers.

Hi AB, welcome to the site, there's 1 man other than God who knows as much about Dungarvan, CORTAZ and he's only letting God do the non fishing stuff! :D

I'm sure he will help you out.

If you can get hold of this month's Irish Angler, Dungarvan is featured in Kieran's "Around Ireland" series.

Or as the man said, drop Cortaz a PM.

Lug is available near the golf course on the East side. There is crab available around the harbours and walls at low tide.
