In search of Ray

Have a few days to myself, can anyone tell me a good place to catch Ray, i live in Dublin with transport, suggestions on bait welcomed, many thanks. If lucky all catch and release.

mb3 knows a nice mark of howth pm him he might let you know where exactly it is,(remember a report a few years back), your best bet would be one of the wicklow/wexford beaches at night on a flooding tide. clipped down sandeel and mackerel on a 3/0 at distance.

Thanks gazo, I was down on Morriscastle strand last week, one bass but no ray, I was thinking of Silver Strand Wicklow. I shall try your bait tip,once again, thanks.Might see you on Killiney beach one day.
