Animals??

Excuse an ignorant Scotsman, but what species are classified as animals?

Noticed a lot of mentions of them here and in the Shamrock tackle range.

generally dogs, huss, conger, ray, conger and all other shark species (tope, smoothie etc) sometimes gurnard and ling are also classified as animals

Seems to be an east coast term. Never heard it used down here in the republic of Cork :)

on the east coast we describe fish as either an animal or edible

animal : dogs ray tope conger ect.......

edible : cod whiting haddock pollock

thats just the way it is wont bluff an explanation

exile, but if given the opportunity to return i would have to turn it down. probably the only cork man that thinks the place is a kip

The Peoples Republic of Cork starts when you cross the Tworig river remember that you have 1 shore and 1 boat comp down here, bring a passport to get home :lol: :lol:

yeah well all you disappointed lads in cork just to let you know that dublin is the real capital and always will be and you can have as many make shift names for cork but it will never be the real capital.
