Fished the rocks to the south of Pollshine a few weeks ago but only had squid and sandeel. So a dogfish every cast. seems a luvly spot has anyone else fished it before?? what other species are available?? I will defor be hitting it again with Peller and worm baits. After the ban that is!!

Yea thats the place alright. Last time i was down there, there was another guy fly fishing on the beach for bass!!

fished poulshone a few times over the years. the species i can recall
catching from this venue i must say not :shock: on the one session are as follows.

bass/codling/whiting/dab/ flounder/thornback ray/ mackerel/smoothies/and i nearly forgot the dogs.that's 9 species over a few sessions/years. so it is worth a try.

Where ya fishing the beach itself or the rocks to the right of the beach???
The beach looks quite shallow!!! Prob drops off

fishing off the beach and the rocks and also if you hike over the hill there is a small pebble beach you can also fish from.

Yea i hiked over the hill last time i was there and fished off the rocks, it looks a brillent spot i will be trying it prob at the weekend and ill let ya no how i get on!!!
