Mustad Viking Bass rod 116.

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Mustad Viking Bass rod 116.

#1 Post by EoinMag »

I got one of these recently and paired it up with a Daiwa Millionaire S.
I've been using it for scratching mostly and had good results on it, I was wondering if anyone else has tried one out and what they think of it?
I'm just a beginner with multipliers and this rod wasn't overly expensive to get to mid range casting with the multi, hope to get a zippy or something eventually to use with an ABU mag elite CT I have eventually.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

good way to get started mate,

i use my bass rod for small fish also and makes it more fun.

as for next rod if have money get a zipp but best let your kit grow and learn as you go on.

Best advice go to a casting meet or club and see whats out there before such a big spend.

good luck
