Any amount at Clogherhead this morning. Seals taking about a third of them before they were landed but plenty of mackerel about.

Plenty of mackerel on ballinacourty pier last two evenings fine size no small joeys hundereds of sprat

Greenore is full of them.. i took 10 in 5 minutes with a spinner, good craic, i didnt need/want any more but there is lads there filling bucket after bucket. I will get another few during the week for winter bait if there still about,

Greenore this morning from 6.30 till 10. I took 20 using just a small spinner, if i used feathers could have had much much more but its hard to beat catching them on light gear... Thats about 30 in the freezer ready for the winter for my 2 trips there, not too bad and really dont need anymore. There was a few nice shoals went past and lads were still pulling them out when i left.. very late in the season for that amount to still be about i think..
