moon phases are part of the story, but not all of it by any means.
right place, right rig, right bait, right tactics, right weather, right temperature, right water condition, right tide, right feeding triggers (including phase) are
all factors in catching , no one alone will do the trick.
there is nothing new about fishing by moon phases, peak times and triggers, i had been made aware of it ten years ago and was using it and i know guys who have been using it since the early 80s. it does have an effect, by my results and i wouldnt doubt one bit thats its workingfor cortaz, but .....
if you are in a good mark, with good watercraft, good bait, good rig and favourable weather and a bad phase you may well catch.
if you are in a crap mark, with rubbish bait, poor presentation and awful conditions on a good phase chances are you wont catch much.
its not a be all and end all of fishing, just part of the story
