Fished Killiney from 10 till 6, weather was amazing. No weed, mackerel were off the chart.

Anyone know what the weed is like between dunlaughaire and killiney

List 2010. fish

List 2011: less fish

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.

Great idea. Sutton Martello tower last night, so much weed it was impossible. Had to drag my gear in by hand and cut the line out of the weeds.

Mornington this evening: Rafts of weed on surface began to enter the estuary 1hr after LW. Most I've seen on the surface in some time, literally packed up my gear when it reached me

Killiney yesturday evening,whole of the in comming no weed until last 2hours even at that minimal not enough to harm you reeling in or anything

Meant to be fishing a club comp on saturday evening somewhere between greystones and wicklow, whats the hope the beaches will be weed free and fishable?

I'm no expert but I'd say it's a no go with the wind direction, but saying that you might pull a fish or 2 if you can fish it! Decisions decisions lol

Was very little weed on Shankill Sunday night and only a hand full of pin whiting for the night ☹️
