Report:Headed down to my usual mullet mark but the wind was right in my face so i decided to look around for a new place to fish.
I had a quick look at the map and found a spot where the wind would be in a better direction for fishing.When i arrived the wind was blowing right to left along the shoreline,which was also with the direction of tide flow.
I set up and went for a walk and from the minute i was beside the water i could see big mullet darting around in the shallows,but as soon a i got near they dissapeared.I walked for about a mile and saw mullet the whole way,(all were 4lb+) but they where only in one`s and two`s and i couldn`t get close enough to try for them.
On the way back i spotted a bigger group of fish in close so i crept(ripping my waders in the proccess
) down and threw in some free offerings which they were quickly attacking.First cast of the day and i missed a bite but i didn`t mind because i could see alot of fish in the distance moving towards me.After a few more missed bites i hooked a nice fish which took about 20 yards in its first run,10 mins later it was in the net.I thought i caught another 5lb`er but it turned out to be 4lb 13oz. 
During the next half hour i missed a few more bites and saw around 300+ fish pass me as the tide dropped,none were much smaller than 4lb and the biggest was maybe 7lb.There was alot of fish over 5lb so i think if this rain stops i`ll be heading back today
