People: Myself
Duration: Three Hours
Tide: Last of the drop
Weather: Perfect light nw wind
Bait: Lures
Rigs:
Results: 13 Bass, biggest 5.5 lb
Catch and Release:: YES all fish returned alive..
Report: Absolutly blistering mornings sport, had 14 takes in 14 casts, droped two fish. The only thing that spoiled a perfect morning was to see angler on the far bank kill god knows how many fish.. all 13 fish I landed went back to see unharmed fighting fit really was the best mornings fishing all year my arm is stll aching and my legs nearly went from under me a coplke of the fish hit that hard.. Was fishing with a very light weight spining outfit with 15lb braid which made for cracking sport.
Stopped taking photos after the fourth fish and concentarted on the fishing, unhooking fish while still in the water..

Well done on a super session. Was on the Kerry ring over the weekend and never got a sniff of a bass.. Time to change county perhaps.

flip,
You're absolutely right.
You can only keep 2 bass per day.

You're not the only one - blanked on Dingle Penninsula myself a week or two week before.
