south dublin bass mark

People:me and my nefu

Duration:9 pm 12.30 am

Tide:1/2 up to full

Weather:1 heavy shower northly breaze

Bait:lug rag squid bluey

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:1 silver eel 2 flounder

Catch and Release:: Yes and no




Report:looking for the elusive dublin bass two caught by fishing aquaintance last week (5lb & 6) at this mark but allas not last night still at least we didnt blank :roll:(took the big flounder for my dinner )

hi gillaroo, seems greystones is a bit hit and miss at the moment if the macks are in the bass seem to be showing up to am on docs oders no fishing for a week pulled a ligament in my neck no pendulum or diggin allowed !!!!! and a week of work (some hope !)must be getting old or something :lol: :lol: :lol:

i fished the same mark about four weeks ago same result flounders and eel. but it does produce the goods on occasion persistence usually pays off :wink: :wink:

got em in henry,s tackle in town i,d say ring to see if he has some cos the pike boys seem partial to em , mind you i dont think they are the wonder bait people are going on about i found squid and mack just as good still have two in the freezer under a pile of razor and mack (all free :D )
