advice on tarting up an old zippy 2500 ptx

i got a nice old zippy a while ago and was looking for advice on stripping it down and refinnishing it ect its a nice rod under all the scratches and crappy whippings/crooked rings and worthy of some TLC :wink:

contact rockhopper, he done my zziplex a treat and he rebuilt mr greens rod, so he's the man in the know

go to viking 160 for a complete rebuild, getting my greys done when i get some monies :wink:

gazo the rods not worth 160 euro would hope to do it myself for 30 euro it needs stripping refinnishing and rewipping and a bit of new shrink tube has anyone any advice re where to get finnishes and whipping thread at the right price ?
