Report:got to the beach on a wet miserable evening, wasint expecting much, ended up chuffed to bits with my first ever smoothhound! what a scrap... two taps on the rod then the line went screaming off the reel. very strong fish.. saw his dorsal poppin up in the waves and i started jumping for joy :P , a big thanks to Seanibo for all his advice on how to catch these fish, sound man... thought it was quite a good size for my first if i do say so myself haha.. :lol:
