People:myself and eointarmey8

Duration:9pm-12am

Tide:droping(near fully low)

Weather:westerly breeze, sunny and calm

Bait:fresh mackeral

Rigs:pullys

Results:eoin mackeral
:myself: mackeral and 1 thornback ray

Catch and Release:: Yes except for mack

Report:was a spur of the moment decision to go fishin but had nothing else to do so we sayed we give it a go. glad we did! when we arrived the water was boiling with mack! so we caught a few and then started to try get doggies or even a ray :D lol on my second last cast the rod tip nooded and once i struck i knew it was a ray. good fight off him, was a while since i got one last! he was 6lbs so a pretty nice fish! was delighted! was very deeply hooked but thanks to the gemini disgorger the hook was out in a matter of secongs and he swam off with no bother!

How big was that stingray Eoin? I have to admit I was dubious when you told me about it the other evening, but now I see the picture.
