Dunseverick Harbour

hiya lads,just got back from a week up in Ballintoy,had a look around places to fish,had a chat with a few lads from around that area,fishings not doing well up in Ballintoy so im told.whats Dunseverick like? anyone fished this place?
i know mackerel are being caught half a mile out from carrick a rede bridge,but i aint got a boat (yet).

just before you turn down to the harbour park in the lay by and walk down in to the bay. try around where the wee river runs into the sea it is usally good.


Or walk along the cliff path and you'll see a gully going down try on the rocks there but be careful there is a narrow strip to walk over to get to the shore but it is a good place, very deep water

thatll be where that hole is,whats known as the 'black hole',heard some stories about that,been told not to go near it,cos if you go in that you never get back out.

i wouldn't do it by yourself and only on a good day but it is good clean ground, it would be no problem to get out of, stick to the pennisula at the bottom of the path, my mate swears by it
