Fishing Marks

#1 Post by crack off colin »

Hi Guys just joined your forum

I am a casting instructor from Bournemouth, hope to visit your area in mid september.

Where would you base yourself if you were me!!!!! would like to fish say in a 20 mile radius of a base camp.

How far is the shannon estuary from either hollyhead or rosslaire!!!!! as that seems to be a sheltered area!

Any ideas please!!!!!

ps Is it a bit early for the codling at that time of year!

cheers

Rosslare is not a bad place to start. You have the E coast beaches one direction and the Waterford spots the other. A good mix of all types of fishing there.
