Aldi Gear this Sunday (3 June 07)

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Anyone know what Aldis stuff is like, built well etc.?

Wondering mainly about the two rods on sale, any use for a budget type rod that will be used for a few months over the summer.

Obviously not expecting them to be top notch but are they value for money?

Got the rod for 20 bob, caught three mackerel and a nice whiting, the fight was great very good sport.
